“What a wonderful host Claire was. Couldn’t have been more accommodating if she tried. Left our family with some Essentials after turning up late in the day and our kids were hungry. The lodge/cottage is literally spotless. The mattress was that comfy we are buying the same one when we get home. I can’t recommend lavender cottage enough. It was simply stunning. “Beautiful little cabin. Immaculately furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and Claire was a fab host. So peaceful and great stars! We went for a lovely circular walk straight from the door - lots of walking in the lanes but barely any traffic and felt safe with our two kids. For anything to do beyond that you need to drive. We spent a fab day fossil hunting and swimming at Charmouth on one of the days. Would definitely recommend as long as you’re happy to head out in the car.”

“We had a fantastic stay in the Lavender Cottage. Firstly, we couldn’t believe how spacious, clean and luxurious the place was. It’s much bigger than the pictures, ceilings are nice and high, large comfortable furniture etc. One thing that stood out was how well insulated the cottage is, it stayed warm the whole time with a really modern and efficient heating system. I think we were lucky to be some of the first few guests to stay here, it looks untouched, and completely brand new! Amazing value for money compared to other properties we looked at. Wonderful views from the cottage, which we spent watching the sunset on both nights. Claire went out of her way to accommodate our requests and was really friendly and responsive. We’d definitely stay again! Thanks Claire.”
